History:
Willow Bennet was born in the backseat of a station-wagon traveling from San Francisco to Canada. Her mom was a hippy of sorts, and her father was gone on a 9 year hiatus that begun a few weeks after she was born. Since her mother was more of a hippy, and she had no one else's example to follow for most of her life, she was always more of a hippy herself. She went with her to the riots, and all the peace meetings of the organizations that her mom belonged to. Life was good, and she felt that nothing could ever go wrong. Of course, when someone thinks something pleasant like that, it's usually foreshadowing for some horrible event coming in the near future, and with Willow, exceptions just cannot be made. One day, after she and her mother were just coming back from an attempt to stop the government from cutting down a forest, her father came back. Her father had changed from the family man he once was, and was holding a few law degrees, and had come back a filthy-rich, corrupt, government official who wanted to go back to family life, feeling sure that his family would take him back. Needless to say, he was wrong, and since he was now very used to getting his way, he decided to leave his hippy of a wife, and take his daughter, with the notion that 'children were their future, yet they needed special care so as not to mix with the wrong crowd'. Willow missed her normal life, and knew that she would never be allowed to return to San Fran. So, she closed herself off to the rest of the world, moving the contents of her room to the library in her 'new home' in New York. She read by day, and read by night, until her knowledge seemed virtually limitless. When she wasn't reading, she was playing the piano, developing a great gift, and hoping someday to go to a college for the musically gifted. One day, her father got tired of her, and dumped her at the school where he hoped she would learn to kick her reading habit, and begin to act more like he thought she should.
Personality:
Even though Willow shut herself off from other people for a while, she still misses talking to people her own age, and even more so, people who accept her for who she is. Once you get her going, she can be very talkative, but has a knack for knowing when to stop. She also has an uncanny ability to see through peoples lies, having had so much practice with her father. She loves to listen to music, and her gift as a pianist hasn't left her. Neither has her love for all things natural and organic, and she still acts like a hippy most of the time, although she has been trying to kick the 70's lingo, without much success.
